Guys, FWIW I saw the HP Jordana Pocket PC demo this week and all I can say is, I want one. Yes it is more expensive than the Palm but the form factor is finally on a par with Palm (as opposed to small PCs which I associated the Jordana name with before this.) True PDA-based web access & ability to view email attachments are some very welcome features. It is also important to not only be able to manage your own schedule but share it with others over the web (websites like anyday.com etc.) And I did not know it will play audio books, MP3s etc. and serve as a voice recorder. And after seeing how the res made reading much easier on the eyes, I do think that people will conclude that, yes, color DOES matter wrt PDAs...similar if not identical to how PC users ~12 years ago concluded color monitors weren't an uncessary luxury after all. I have no position in MSFT so rest assured this is not a rah-rah post, just that I saw, I like.

And, FWIW, Palm may find itself several months from now struggling in a 2-front war, with direct PDA competitors like PocketPC, and smart cell phones...NeoPoint looks impressive as well. Check out Inc magazine recent Technology issue...a longtime Palm lover finally and reluctantly (at first) swapped out his Palm for a NeoPoint phone.
