Hey Mike

I have a couple options questions. I've never been into selling covered calls, as I don't believe it's the best way to manage a position.. I do once in a while sell a call on a position near expiration. I have a couple times been floored at what people will pay on expiration day. I hold a long position in EGRP... I won't debate it's merit, as most the investment community hates the company. I think they will do extremely well long term, with their brand name, crappy service, and eventually spending less on adds.-g-

Anyway EGRP had settled into it's options expiring range of 19 15/16, 20 1/16.. and wasn't going anywhere. I decided to sell the april 20 call.. it had 2 hours till expiration. Someone paid 7/8.. and it filled in seconds.. weird stuff. This isn't the first time I've been able to do this. I wonder if it isn't a GTC someone forgot, or are option traders psycho?-g-
The other question is if called(I've never been called) do I pay a comission on having my stock called? Is it removed from my portfolio soon after?

Also do you still like RMBS puts.. if not, can you give me a couple current favs??

TIA
