I wonder whether castro will keep Elian in cuban compound while his application for asylum is adjudicated? Perhaps, he'll keep him there to see if Elian is granted asylum. Additionaly, I think a custody hearing is in the works if the 11 th circuit rules so. The 11 h circuit may, in light of Reno's behavior towards its ruling, remove Elian from the cuban compound-if he is still there.
