while Nortel will continue to drive us -- book-to-bill for new standard products is 3.0 -- i'm definitely encouraged by diversification outside of NT by the likes of Juniper, Marconi and Sycamore. (of course, it's often overlooked that AMCC sells into four NT divisions: Calgary for the Metrocell line, Montreal for ASICs, Europe, and essentially Bay Networks [via Cimaron design wins].)

Chris, thanks for the additional info re NT. The 40-43% is about the only thing I wonder about. Four divisions helps. pBaud as a design center makes sense. As you probably also heard in the CC, Lucent is expected to be the next >10% customer. Hard not to like this company.

Mostly salt in an ocean yak. Home is a small island off the west coast of BC. Kayak mostly between Vancouver Island and mainland. You wouldn't believe some of the tidal current white water in some of the passes though. Skookumchuk Narrows is amazing (nope, it's not me):
