The Gilders of the world are necessary for dramatic moves in stock prices. These companies wouldn't move like this if the word weren't disseminated and hammered home incessantly from a variety of sources. Executives of companies who have to make calls on what their company will do next have to deal with the changing world of technology all day every day and sometimes they get it wrong.
