Holy Jihad Tekboy, that was one mighty terrific write-up! As an Old Q head, it kind of bothers me that you may have accurately summarized 32 million posts over the last three years in a few paragraphs, but I'll live with it. Besides, your bone dry rationality left out the lusty religous fervor experienced by the True Believers when the Evil Ericsson Empire was finally vanquished. Fortunately, we have an absolutely splendid Chapter 2 with Nokia leading the charge this time around, and, Lord be praised, even more acronyms to fill the spectrum and obliterate any possiblity of understanding what's going on. At the Q shareholders meeting, the Good Dr. Jacobs even tried to throw in Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum, or DS-CDMA, to cover all the little critters spinning off the beloved IS-CDMA95, but adoring shareholders would have none of it, preferring mud to clarity. Which is why I write actually: posts like yours violate the true spirit of the wireless tower of Babel. The use of plain English, simple, declarative sentences, and cogent reasoning have no place in any discussion of Qualcomm and its Enemies. Kindly fashion your future observations accordingly. best regards, mike doyle [aka, Surfer Mike]
