Steve Porter:

Re: "I have a 2 week $95 price target for this stock."

Comment: Woudn't surprise me one iota, assuming reasonable stability in general markets. My charts suggest we're overdue for another 30% runup, not unlike the 4 we've seen since November except possibly larger and swifter...I'm definitely picking some more calls up this week!

Revisiting the "big money" theory, no AMD didn't get through $80 by April expiry as suggested correctly by you...but it's still inconclusive in my mind as to whether "big money" and or "option crosscurrents" theory had much to do with keeping the lid on AMD...In dismal general markets AMD outperformed all other equities as far as I can tell.Would have been interesting to see AMD's performance in stable markets...a better test for the "big money" or "option crosscurrents" theses would have occurred had general markets been stable...School is still out in my mind as to the reason that AMD did not cross $80 before April expiry...Not trying to undermine the fact that you were right in your suggestion that AMD wouldn't get through $80...Good call Steve...Hope your "$95 in 2 week" call is on the money too...(I think it will be!)
