will jump in here appropos of almost nothing. have had an acct with msdw for a few years - started out when it was lombard and have stayed with it. they are getting better, i must say. trades are 19.95 for limits, though i think they intend to raise that fee. one of my accts, don't know why just one!, has real-time quotes in the quote basket, so i track lots of stocks there and then trade in that one, or any one of the other 3 accts i have, with a couple of clicks.(explanation is 3 iras and one cash acct.) they have occasional mini crashes on heavy days, but they don't last long and are becoming less frequent. they reply to email complaints, etc., pretty fast. all in all i am getting more satisfied with them as we go along - they must be adding capacity, or just handling the flow better. don
