Another example why online retailing is a lethal business. The Washington Post had a nice article on wireless mouse peripherals; the Logitech Cordless Mouseman looked interesting since I use my PC many hours every day. The Logitech site had a nice presentation of the CM and offered to sell it for $59.95. But ZDZ's ComputerShopper.com referred me to Buy.Com's $39 offer for the same product. Guess where I bought my new CM? Bye, bye retail margins. PROG is trading at or under its current cash level and I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole as a long-term investment.
