Joe, The Cyrix MediaGx suffered from the lack of L2, and tiny L1. Actually, the lack of L2 may be the MediaGX's greatest strength. The die is small, burns very little power, and is being sold in large quantities by National. The latest version of MediaGX burns less than 1 watt, and is very cheap.
