If MSFT could write a check for $1.5 billion and get on with business close to usual (as if they would write the check), that would be one of the best things that could happen to the market. A known solution. Msft may be one of the best values in the market. They are beaten up, and will be more so on Monday. In their earnings report, they basically said the same things they have said for years, people just chose to listen with a more critical ear this time. The new Windows will be adding billions to their bottom line. MSFT, I've owned the stock for years & never used one of their products.
