Raymond F. Ball Jr.: OT the boy's father deserted him and his mother before he was even born. were you aware of this? This is total BS, you obviously do not know the facts. If you simple watched CNN on occasion you would have know that the mother actually left the father. And you would have known that Elian and his father enjoyed a close relationship after the divorce. CNN aired video showing both Elian's biological mother and father celebrating a birthday of Elian after the divorce. You failed to mention that Elian's great uncle (the one that said if he had a gun they would never have taken Elian) has not held a steady job for years and lost his drivers licensee due to drunk driving. And one of his other uncles has a fairly lengthy rap sheet with local authorities as well. Gee where do you folks come from... LG
