Also, Mark - why not just pass along the SNDK shares to VRTS? Why sell them and pay the 40% tax rate (unless someone wanted the cash)? I thought a large part of the purpose of this deal was tax avoidance and unlocking "the value of SEG's assets" for its shareholders??? I'm sure there's a lot I don't understand, but it surely feels fishy.
