That is a new act, and I confess I'm sort of shocked. Before you could claim ignorance. You can't, now.
I had reserved as a possibility that you would acknowledge that the "heart" of a forty day fetus does not have 1/5 the "energy output" of an adult's, even though your movement has been telling that lie for some time.
I assume, therefore, that you have chosen to accept my rationalizing "proportionality" postulation of a 2/3 inch tall adult gentleman, or a 200 pound fetus, which provide the only rationale I, at least, could come up with for the lie.
Which do you envision, PROLIFE, the teeny weeny adult with the heart the size of a grain of rice emitting five times the amount of energy of the embryonic heart tissue, or, alternatively, the 1/5 comparative energy-output of the 200 pound fetus?
Or is there a rationalization you have come up with that has escaped me?
You are promulgating a lie. Your movement has been promulgating that lie "for years."
PROLIFE, I will donate a hundred dollars to the prolife organization of your choice, or to your own church fund, if you show, without recourse to the teeny adult or humungous fetus rationale, that that statement is not a lie. Find a non-aligned scientist or publication that confirms your movement's dishonorable claim, and I will send my personal check made made out to Edwarda, if she is agreeable to forwarding the amount to you.
I spent a good deal of time on the fascinating-- but ENTIRELY-irrelevant-to-this discussion-- U of P site. It took me a while to realize that you although you posted as though it supported your assertion, it does not address it! Not at all! It's a change of subject!

Where on that site does it say that a 40 day old fetus's heart outputs 20% of the energy of an adult's? Where, Professor, where? I'll give an additional four hundred dollars if you can find that for me there, on that site.
That will be five hundred dollars for your church or charity if you can show me where, at the U of P link you pretended was support for your lie, it says that a 40 day old fetal heart "outputs" 20% of the energy an adult's does.
BTW, I see from that link (I do go to your urls, looking forward to expanding my knowledge; why is it again that you won't go to mine?) that when we talk about 40 days we are still talking about the embryonic stage, and not yet the fetal stage, which begins at the end of the eighth week. I had forgotten that. (Great site, I bookmarked it.) So it isn't a 200 pound fetus you would have to be postulating to rationalize the lie by claiming "proportionality" is what was meant, but a 200 pound embryo.
Oh, I will "keep tapping"! -- Until you produce the evidence and collect the hundred, or five hundred, dollars, for your cause, or admit it was a lie you posted and a lie your movement has been promulgating for years.
