That was my point. I told her that taking away the bunny and blanket for a night was for her action. The more strict punishment was going to be for the lying, but her point is that next time she will just accept the punishment for doing the deed while denying doing it, so that she doesn't get the harsher punishment. I say she'll tell the truth so that she doesn't get the bigger one. It must be a girl thing. :-) My son comes to us and tells us when he does something wrong without being asked. If he's without TV for a day, he'll come in from a neighbors or something and say "I forgot I wasn't supposed to watch tv, I guess you ought to take it away for another day."
