The very incubator type investments you believe will save MSFT may have the opposite effect on her balance sheet. Take a look at incubator specialist CMGI .. then too cbs.marketwatch.com where all the law suits will eventually go we don't know, but the market don't like uncertainty and even in the best case the legal expense is going to be going up..as the DOJ case didn't do anything else it opened Pandora's box and now all the new style "high priest" are lined up to do there own inquisition. MSFT played hard ball, when she should have settled. Jim and BTW IBM didn't just fall off a cliff back in the 80s it was painful and took almost 6yr for her to bottom out. Jim
