I have lots of stuff to try, now. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'll get my tech computer geek buddy right on it.

I don't remember who posted the reference to video drivers, but I'm betting they are on the right track!

I would:

1. Check with your video card maker for updated video drivers (usually go to their web site and download/install).

2. Reduce your color depth (try 256 colors).

You'd be surprised how many "problems" are rooted in software's interaction with the video drivers!
