The problem is in Version 5 of AOL's software. I run AOL 4 over/with my @Home connection with no problems, both as a dialup and as a direct. AOL Version 5 won't uninstall and won't allow for any other ISP not just ATHM. This is why I tossed the Version 5 disk and have urged everyone else I know that still uses AOL to do the same.
