The Forbes writer glibly says that the P/E of JDSU is 516. In fact, based on the first quarter of this year which should be representative, the P/E ratio is 210. Such sloppy reporting makes one doubt the whole article. In any case it surely is a fact that whatever technology is involved is not yet commercial. I suggest it's best not to consider Terabeam as anything important for Softbank.
