By the way, E, I was in high school when Roe v. Wade was decided, and originally considered it Solomonic. I began to doubt it, though, as the fears about the slippery slope were borne out, and a very liberal abortion regime began to pervade the country. Finally, a combination of criticism of the decision, and the sort of reflections I have already argued, turned me against Roe and all abortions. I am not a member of any church, and am not doctrinally required to be anti- abortion. Michael Cummings, who is a member of an evangelical church, has a position identical to yours.
