Investor Business Daily ads to run this Friday.
I just got off the phone with Peak's Investor Relations, they said the Investor Business Daily ads SHOULD run starting this Friday. It is not 100% sure yet and may be the following Friday, but looks pretty good.

Peak is running the ads to try and get themselves alittle more exposure in the investment community. The problem with being on the Alberta Exchange is no one knows about them. The ads will probably say "here is Peak Technologies and here is what we do... They will also mention the recent appointment of former IBM Executive V.P. Carl Conti to Peak's board.

Peak chose IBD because the average net worth of it's readers is higher than any other newspaper. It is away of showing them the Conti news.

Will the ads move the stock? I will quote a friend of mine who follows Peak closely, "I don't think the IBD ads will do anything on their own, but in concert with the reviews, the WSJ coverage by Mossberg if it happens, the investor forums, the cumulative effect should knock down the walls. The average investor (unlike us that use Silicon Investor) has the attention span of a sparrow, and has to be barraged with a name before it sticks. If they can't avoid seeing it, they'll buy it. Also, once it moves, that will bring them aboard. Everyone wants to get on before the train leaves the station...just before.

Everything I've seen that owns a niche, when that niche is perceived as having value, has performed."
