SCUR 1stQ beats est: (0.27) vs. expected (0.36)

Nice to see the following improvements:

"There was significant sequential improvement in several other financial
statistics in addition to product and services revenue and net loss. Gross
margins in the quarter increased 6 percentage points to 62% from 56% in the
prior quarter. Days sales outstanding declined by 27 days, or 38% to 44 days
from the prior quarter. Deferred revenue increased by $0.9 million, or 25%, and
cash and investments increased $8.8 million to $17.7 million from the prior
quarter due primarily to an infusion from the Series E preferred financing of
which all but $1.4 million has been converted into common shares."

Also, there's discussion on Yahoo of a big 3 automaker using SafeWord. Wonder who that might be?

After glancing through the earnings announcement & a few posts on Yahoo from the 'respected' regulars (those with credibility over the last year or so), it sounds like the conference call was quite positive, and SCUR is on track for a nice recovery. Perhaps this is what some analysts were looking for before reinitiating coverage? -or, it may still take one more quarter. After last years's disaster, only 1 broker continued following SCUR.
