Gst,
7-eleven an interesting story. It was formerly Southland Corp out of Texas.
They over expanded...did a Bezo...and went busto.
Then a Japanese group came in and bought what little was left...and took it out of bankruptcy...leaving the original Southland shareholders with nada...just worthless stock certificates to stick on the wall.
I liked the 7-eleven business model...so when the new floatation came out...I bought into it.I'm glad I did.
Btw
I've always liked the convenience of the Amzn model. It's like having Pizza delivered to your door.
I found the article fascinating...the Japanese would rather go to a 7-eleven than have it delivered to their door!!!
I didn't know that until recently.
So is that why svely is going to have their B&M stores be the point of pick up? They plan on doing that here in the USA too.
