Correct, I said that in my post, but I still try to do the best I can with the fundamental information I have.
Then I use stuff like dollar charts for the macro, and technical analysis on the individual stock charts.

I do the best I can with the gold market how it is, as opposed to how I wish it was.
It's OK to dream of a better day in gold, but one has to do something while waiting.
For me, it has been buying Barrick and selling it on every bear market rally for a few bucks.
