Here's what I'm talking about:

'Earlier design wins that have converted into production orders have been achieved at 3COM, CABLETRON, and DIGITAL EQUIPMENT. New and additional design wins have been awarded from CABLETRON, DEC, and US ROBOTICS among others.....'

'While the market for the 80C240T-4 PHY part is still asleep, a recent product announcement from 3COM should help stimulate demand. The 220 TX PHY part is now being sampled and should be in volume production during the Sept. quarter. We would expect SEEQ to generate 1-3M in the Sept Q. from this product alone...the current market is $250-300M for the part and National Semi has 80% of the market with an A2 chip solution, while SEEQ, Quality Semi, and ICS Tech offer a single chip solution. We see a significant opportunity for SEEQ to gain a meaningful market share since they offer both the controller chip as well as the PHY in their product line.'

'To the extent that 3COM becomes a potentially larger customer by adding the potential for SEEQ's PHY product into 3COM's NIC product line. Compaq also could be a significant purchaser of SEEQ's PHY part as well for their PC platforms....SEEQ will also be introducing a combo chip as part of their long term product strategy...'

should you wait for SEEQ to show up in any release forthcoming you may be waiting for a very long time.........
