Memory modules optimize multiprocessor
servers

CMP Media Inc. - Saturday, April 22, 2000

Apr. 21, 2000 (Electronic Engineering Times - CMP via COMTEX) -- IRVINE, CALIF. - Camintonn Corp.
has introduced what it calls "sophisticated" memory modules to optimize the performance of high-end
servers, specifically Compaq Computer's 16-processor HPC160 and 32-processor HPC320 Alpha
machines. The memory modules, ranging in capacity from 256 Mbytes to 2 Gbytes and priced from $980
to $6,800, "provide cost-effective memory solutions to support the HPC's computational environment,
which includes both large distributed-memory and small shared-memory parallel applications," the
company said.
