lawdog, Binder is probably right. It has been my observation that most democrats are either people who work for the government and want to protect their job or fiefdom or people who want something from the government. i.e. welfare, programs, etc.. If you just want a level playing field filled with opportunity then you would embrace the philosophies of the Republicans.
