FWIW, Barron's has an article where they use a system to rate returns (according to market performance, cash-flow return on investment and revenues)for investors on SP500 stocks. Amkor was pretty much a no show on the list at number 319.

However, one of the top ten was Celestica - an electronics contract mfgr based in Canada. Here is some optimistic talk from a RS analysits:
Robertson Stephens' Dunne sees ample upside from here. "Right now, the world is only 20% outsourced. Every extra
10 [percentage] points is $100 billion worth of work, and
we think the world is moving toward 60%-70% outsourcing
within five years.

While this type of growth may not occur in the semi industry. Amkor should do very well and help it move up the list.
