OZ,

some comments on my trade style/specs and system etc:

i use two computers, one with esignal and trading screen behind it(etrade trading screen via netscape)this is DSL. the other a dial up 56k with level 2 , switching back and forth between my trading stocks for the day. i kind of get a feel of what is in demand and what is for sale.

set up esignal with all my quotes, say 80 stocks
intraday tick charts of my 3 trading stocks, plus another 2 or 3 that change from day to day, plus time and sales of my favorite trading stock.

set up the parameters you follow for the quotes: for me: last, change,%change, high, low, bid, ask, prev, vol

set up quotes by group: brokers, DSL, big net, big tech, etc

use your charts!!! find the trendlines. support and resistance etc.

i trade 500 to 900 times per month, rarely with more than a 10 to 15% gain on a trade. usually 1/2 to 5 points on a trade, many overnight with right conditions (not now usuallY)

know the fundamentals and prospects of the companies you trade. know the chatboard sentiment for the thinner traded stocks you trade.

i'll post more when i can
