Jim,

I have been away all weekend so maybe I missread a post or so. How do you know a DDR board will not fit in a standard case?

How much bigger is it?
How much costlier would it be to produce? Estimates anyone.

All the AMD bulls and/or RDRAM bashers have bragged about DDR being easier because it is so so similiar to SDRAM, or so they said. Now we are saying this thing takes 12 layers (Is this confirmed? What do RDRAM and SDRAM require?), it will not fit in a standard case and requires more pins to boot. Doesn't sound like great news for DDR fans to me.

When are production quantities of this beast supposed to be available anyway? What will the yields be? Gee, is this our turn to bitch about yields?
