Senators are not typically refused entry to military bases They are when they are grandstanding and interjecting themselves in a private family matter that was clearly unwanted by the father of the boy. All I can say is he must be up for re-election and his poll numbers weren't looking too good. I might add that the picture of him standing there with that pink egg is not going to impress the voters in his home state too much either. The world may be a better place yet.
