V.EUK:

Stock has tapered off a bit on low volume. Won't take much to resume its upward swing. Not much paper offered below $1.00. AGM is this week so maybe they'll have some news.

For anybody interested, I e-mailed BC mines department to get information on the Eureka property near Wells, BC. Here is what was forwarded back to me.

Hello Mr. Langton.... I understand that you have expressed interest in the belt of rocks that is being explored by Hudson Bay for volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits.

1) little has been compiled on this belt of rocks and the amount of recorded exploration is rather scant; however, a report written by this office in Exploration and Mining in British Columbia - 1999 (Part B) compiles some of the information available--you may find it useful; see the publication release below!

2) regarding the development of a mine... the occurrences that led Hudson Bay to option the property from Eureka Resources are of float; while some of the float is very angular, contains spectacular copper grades, and is likely
not far removed from its bedrock source, it is still float! Bottom line is that these are very early stage prospects that will require at least several years of exploration and evaluation before development is considered.

3) 2000 Exploration activity... I expect activity in the area to be much higher than in recent years; the entire belt of Slide Mountain (Antler Formation) is prospective (as is the Snowshoe Group of the Barkerville Subterrane) and the belt continues northward (Carp Lake area and beyond to
Germansen Landing area where rocks are called Nina Lake Group).

Hope this bit of information helps.

Sincerely,

PS: If anybody actually read the release, can they please explain the geological terms.

I think it is good but need clarification.

TIA
