No, I have no idea how many people are denied asylum, nor if it is an issue that needs to be visited. And I certainly do feel sympathy for those who want to be here, and cannot. But just as I think that there are historical reasons for Israel to have a particular claim on our support, I think that there are historical reasons for the Cubans to have a particular claim. With the termination of the Cold War, perhaps those reasons should be scrutinized, but meanwhile, I would not deny a child who has the good fortune to arrive under certain laws his day in court.......
