Well were going to be in another volatile situation. All the major newspapers had nothing to do on the weekend so are "spinning their own stories" as to what they think will happen to MSFT. They go from the responsible to the outwardly stupid......as a result, MSFT is trading at $70.00 and thats down about $9.00 from the close on Thursday.

If that wasn't enough, the Goldman Sachs Analyst who has followed MSFT since its inception, must have read the papers and picked the stupidest one and then promptly removed MSFT off of their "preferred stock list".

Now you would think that all this "breakup info" would be good for Oracle, Sun etc etc, well the herd mentality prevails here, so all of those stocks are down as well.

So....as per normal, I will buck the trend, and buy a "hockeysock of MSFT today"....what people fail to realize is even if the worse scenario happens and the company is broken into three parts, the stock will double from here....so be it...not going to be part of the herd!

So as it stands Nas futures are down 110 and holding, S&P futures are down 11.70....I think we might see some strengthening from here, but it will be a down day for sure.

Any Teckie will have problems today, trying to maintain!
