Captain, there will be some initial jerky reaction and see how people who take this opportunity get rewarded. Even if MSFT agreed for a breakup, that would be the best, see what happened if you owned standard oil or AT&T before break-up. The internet company alone willbe worth $80 a share. The windows company worth about $60, the apps company $80. You are getting $220 worht of company for peanuts.
