Agreed! We have expectations (we don't call them rules-aren't we devious?) that our sons must fulfill. They have the right to expect shelter, food, clothes and education from us as parents. Everything else is a privelege that must be earned and can be taken away. And we've done it. We try to keep our expectations reasonable and we are open to discussion about them, but the bottom line is while they are dependent on us, they are subject to our requirements.
