[misunderstanding?]
I believe (hope) Bob was saying that GTE said the DMT modem needed to be smaller and use less power and that the vendor was "aware" of (knew about) these two issues. (Presumably that DMT vendor is Amati.) I think (hope) Bob/GTE did not say the vendor was "Aware". Or did I misunderstand the possible misunderstanding?
