VARI-L Results.

I think that the numbers look good. Revenue growth up 48% over last year AND 14% over the Dec. 1999 quarter.

Net Income up 47%, AND 18% over the Dec. 1999 quarter.

Order backlog is tremendous at approx. $23 million.

Shares outstanding [fully diluted] earnings is the only reason that I see that we didn't have a blow-out -- but with these growth numbers and backlog, we should see VARL grow out of of the diluted share backlog and start ramping up earnings.

I cannot tell much on the Company's margins, but I note that consistent with last quarter, the ratio of net income to sales remains at 14%. I suspect that margins remain healthy.

Today may be a buying opportunity if the Nasdaq gets hammered.
