Latest Gilder Technology Report just out - he's dumped Telegent(TGNT) and NextLink (NXLK) from his stock portfolio, and added Avanex (AVNX). Oddly enough, shares in Avanex almost doubled immediately. I've reported that Gilder has been taking a lot of abuse on the boards because the stocks on his list have gone down quite a bit since the Nasdaq peak - and now he's added some new language to his disclaimer: "Note: The Telecosm Table is not a model portfolio. It is a list of technologies in the Gilder Paradigm and of companies that lead in their application. Companies appear on this list only for their technology leadership, without consideration of their current share price or the appropriate timing of an investment decision. The presence of a company on the list is not a recommendation to buy shares at the current price. Reference Price is the company's closing share price on the Reference Date, the day the company was added to the table, typically the last trading day of the month prior to publication. Mr. Gilder and other GTR staff may hold positions in some or all of the stocks listed."
