Tax Question Anyone that can help, Would it make sense to exercise July 45's now? There's no premium in the option, so there's no reason to sell the option and buy the stock. From a tax point of view, I would like to get a long term gain out of it. If I exercise now, I would have to hold until April 24, 2001 for a long term gain, but if I wait that date will slide 3 months. The future is unpredictable 1 year in advance, so I would like to give myself the best chance at at least getting some long term gains. Any thoughts? chic PS- One stock is green in my streamer, anyone know which one?
