<< Cubans voted on Sunday in one-party local elections hailed by the communist government ... >>

"One Party" elections!? What a joke!

<< "The presence of more than 7.5 million Cubans at the polls will be the firmest response possible to the infamy of Geneva," Juventud Rebelde, the official newspaper of Cuba's communist youth movement, said in a front page editorial on Sunday. >>

It's funny what the threat of storm troopers breaking into Cuban homes, with tear gas and machine guns, will do to a family's desire to follow Castro's orders to vote in a "ONE PARTY" election.

<< Voting was not obligatory but an intense propaganda campaign by state media, backed up by door-to-door calls by members of local neighborhood Committees ... >>

Voting was not obligatory??????

Intense propaganda ... by door to door calls by ... local neighborhood committees??? These local committees are spys that live in each neighborhood and report any neighbor who does not follow the Castro line, or who speaks against Castro. They especially like to get children to report their parents for anti-Castro talk.

Cubans who don't vote or who say anything against Castro are pulled from their homes, in night time raids, by thugs carrying machine guns and tear gas. Sound familiar?

Of course, in Cuba they don't have freedom of the press, so the inhumane acts of Castro's thugs can't be witnessed by the people of Cuba, or the world.
