Another good day for the shorts. IOM's heavier than usual volume indicates individual suckers are coming in. The CNBC typical lacky listens to the talking heads saying small-caps are going up, and immediately thinks IOM is a good buy. (Snicker). Guess what happens when that slows? (And it will). That's right. Down to the dumpster along with yesterday's greasy chicken bones and wilted cole slaw.

Another question- why does everyone here rejoice when earnings estimates are revised upward--but not even to the levels that were first projected at the beginning of this year? IOM's revenue growth has stopped. It's fall off has been sudden, and dramatic. This is evidenced by earnings growth percentage falling to 30% next year, by the best estimates available. The only thing saving IOM right now is increased margins. Iomaniacs are looking for any saving grace to come along to justify the stock's still sky-high valuation. They look to Zip, they do the math, and come up with ridiculous PE ratios like 50 or 60 to justify any increase in share price. That fails, so the next saviour is no.hand.

No.hand will fail. Plain and simple. The environments that no.hand is intended for will brutalize a disc drive. You will have to hold the camera a certain way, or let it rest stationary in order for data to be written correctly. Sorry, Iomega, but flash cards are the way to go for portable devices. Good, rugged, dependable solid state will is getting cheaper and cheaper while growing larger and larger in storage size.
