Win2K has two significant releases (tools & upgrade) which will help chip sales (assuming adequate chip supply), although, they may not be in your time frame. The first one is in June and the second one is in September.

The upgrade is significant in that IT managers generally prefer .1 not .0.

My concerns are not semi specific nor even tech specific. I am worried about market volatility due to the uncertainity of how much the Feds will raise the discount rate. I don't think we will know for the certain of the amount of the raises until some time in June. Until then, I think the markets, particularly the NAZ will be very unpredictable.
