That is not a proof, no more than that you can make a bedroom set from an acorn.
It is exactly that question - what IS the "thing" between 0 and 9 months - that is the hinge of all these arguments. Someone masturbating is no murderer of millions. A woman who miscarries a four-week fetus isn't committing manslaughter. I grant your that the wiggling gasping baby born after, say, seven months gestation possesses personhood. But the zygote or gastrula does not. So I believe, at present. But I am not dead set in that belief. A convincing argument otherwise can sway me to a different belief. If you can prove otherwise, and without resorting to arguments of either sentiment or theology - I will listen attentively and witth respectful silence.
