The problem with shorting here is where do we stop. The swings up have been as quick as those on the downside. As a result a hands off approach may be the best thing to do at this point. I want to make money as bad as anyone but this is the most difficult market to predict that I have ever dealt with. 1990, 1994, 1997 and 1998 all had declines during the year but were much easier to call.
