Allan, Put that .sym file in your DownLoader folder (use Windows Explorer -- the Downloader is usually in a folder such as "c:\program files\equis\the downloader"), then go to File\| New Security (in either MetaStock or the DownLoader) and go to Lookup. In the Type drop-down list you'll see the name of your .sym folder - select it, and then select all of the securities in the list. Then press OK at the Symbol Lookup. Now you're back at the New Security dialog - set the folder name and any other settings such as beginning date, and then press OK and you're done. --Jon
