Hi Jorj, I agree with your take on the psychology of the market right now. It is of paramount importance that INVESTOR CONFIDENCE be maintained. But that will be a difficult task in the wake of financial pain that is being felt by those who recently sought "buying opportunities" and bought the dips. Add to that those who have watch paper profits evaporate. I don't see a reversal coming anytime soon, I think the market is going to trade in a sawtooth fashion trending lower. I'm expecting a higher than anticipated employee cost index and that surely will not bode well for the interest rate environment. As far as calling it a panic, I think we've already seen the panic a couple of Fridays ago(based on the SELLING not the sayings), what I'm sensing now is more quiet desperation. bp
