Whatever happened to the DVIN IPO? The last word I heard was that it was rescheduled to the end of April. I guess their timing put them in the dumpster. I still think that their political connections to the Daley Boys could pay off in loosened legislation related to that pesky Investment Trust Act of 1940.

Have you heard about that old case where the Secretary of State in Illinois died and they found a shoebox full of cash in his closet? The old Mayor Daley ran a tight ship and Chicago seemed to run smoothly. He lived modestly and there wasn't much questioning about him profitting from his position as Mayor. A lot of other people around him did make some money. They built some major freeways right through some densely populated neighborhoods. That is almost impossible in my small town. People don't understand power politics and the notion of cement shoes <G>.
