<LOL> Thread: I spoke with a friend who works for a dot-com startup and I asked him about their storage solution. Apparently they have a NetApp filer, but they recently replaced it with a SAN / RAID solution because of NetApp's lack of redundancy (in the drives) and lack of fault-tolerance in hardware such as the drive controllers. Can anyone shed light on whether their upper-tier solutions have these in place? I thought it was odd that expensive hardware like these Filers are lacking in this space. Thanks in advance... P.S.
