CNBC just had the history of Wallstreet on for 2 hours narrated by Sue Herrera.
It was interesting to see how the great crashes transpired with overbought conditions and how long a very severe bear market could last....decades!!! That's a long time to wait for a stock to go up...However, the show ended on a final note on how there is a new wild card in the great game, the internet.
A guy on the show quoted how everyone can now get involved in the stock market through the internet electronically and how the broker of old may just become a relic of the past. It's comforting to know I own a piece of the best E-broker out there...The industrial revolution is over, the internet revolution is taking place and in the next few years we're going to see a huge financial revolution!
Only the strong will survive.
